1902 Let the Improvements Go Merrily On The sale of the iron fence around the courthouse took place as advertised last Monday. Chas. Berry bouth 600 feet for the Kelseyville Cemetery, paying 300, therefor, and Amos Ogden took all that remained for sale - 67 feet - for $40.50. As this fence was of no value whatever except for the purpose for which it was bought, the supervisors may regard themselves as fortunate in securing purchasers at a price which is fair for both parties. We hope the Board will next turn their attention to the extension of the granatoid pavement along the north and south sides of the courthouse square. This will do much to relieve the county scat of that stringtown look which has begun to disappear during the past year or two. The courthouse square will all its appurtenaces belongs to the county at large and it should be the pride of its agents, the Supervisors, to continue their good work until that spot always in view to visitors to this much visited part of the county, i s more in harmony with the natural beauties of this beautiful county.
